About me

I understand — because I’ve been there too.

Hi, I’m Samantha Wittenberg, a life coach, speaker, storyteller, nature lover and mum to a young autistic woman.

My journey began with a dramatic turning point when my teenage child became suddenly aggressive and frighteningly possessive of me.

Bewildered and heartbroken, I embarked on a profound quest to understand Autism and my child’s unique needs.

I know what it’s like to live in a constant state of alertness, trying to manage your child’s emotions while stuffing down your own.

I remember the loneliness, the guilt, and the exhaustion that came from caring without enough care for me.

I’ve learned that caregiving is a marathon, not a sprint — and that mindset and a willingness to look beyond the obvious difficulties to a deeper purpose, are essential to the journey.

That’s why I founded Neuronest Carer Support— to help you find your centre again, without guilt, overwhelm, or another item on your to-do list.

Is it free?

Once you've come to the group a few times, you’re invited to set up a small recurring contribution — even $5 a month makes a real difference.

There is a tiered offer: Supporter $5, Sustainer $15, Champion $30

If it feels aligned and affordable for you, I suggest $30 a month, which works out at less than $10 per meeting.

Please only contribute what feels sustainable and comfortable for you as I want this to feel generous and voluntary.

There is absolutely no obligation. This community remains a supportive space regardless.

If contributing financially isn’t possible right now, there are other meaningful ways to support this work.

You might:

* Share the group with someone who would benefit

* Invite a friend to join us

* Offer a testimonial about your experience

* Engage in discussions and help keep the space warm and active

* Let me know what has been most valuable for you

Every form of support matters.

For those who choose to contribute monthly, I’m offering the Neuronest 5 day Journey,  to support you with whatever it is you need support with.

During those five days, we’ll work together individually, and in return I’ll ask for your honest feedback about your experience.

Why this matters now

Without support, even the strongest, most devoted carer burns out.

Chronic stress doesn’t just drain your energy — it impacts your health, your relationships, and your ability to connect meaningfully with the person you care for. Over time, resentment, fatigue, and self-doubt take over.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. You can restore balance, feel grounded, and show up from a place of peace — not pressure. When you’re calm, your loved one feels safer too. That’s the power of co-regulation.

  • Move from constant overwhelm to feeling calmer, more present, and better able to cope day to day

  • Feel more emotionally steady and less reactive during challenging moments

  • Understand yourself and your child more clearly, reducing guilt, frustration, and self-blame

  • Experience greater ease and cooperation in your key relationships

  • Reconnect with who you are beyond the caring role, strengthening your sense of self

  • Feel more hopeful, confident, and resourced to face what lies ahead

  • Use practical regulation tools to restore balance when stress rises
